Visit West End is pleased to announce the return of open air cinema screenings in the Botanic Gardens on the 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th of August.
We will be showing the following films for Bill in the Botanics, a celebration of the work of director Bill Forsyth:
Thursday 17th August That Sinking Feeling (1979)
Friday 18th August Comfort & Joy (1984)
Saturday 19th August Gregory's Girl (1981)
Sunday 20th August Local Hero (1983)
Entrance will be permitted from 8.30pm from the Queen Margaret Drive entrance. The film starts at 9 pm.
Make sure to bring your own seating, such as blankets or sun chairs. The garden kiosk will stay open till late, selling hot dogs, popcorn and soft drinks.You may also bring your own picnic; however, please note that you will not be permitted to bring alcohol to the screening.
