About The Mackintosh Festival

The Mackintosh Festival invites you to celebrate the life of Charles Rennie Mackintosh through a series of exhibitions, events & tours. There will be activities for the whole family at this years festival!

October becomes ‘Mackintosh month’ as visitors and locals alike are invited to enjoy a programme of events with a focus on architecture, design, visual arts and crafts in the city where he lived and worked.

During October, a series of events and exhibitions will take place across the main Mackintosh attractions, buildings and collections in and around Glasgow.

From walks, workshops and exhibitions to performances and talks, events are designed for all ages, to appeal to those who know nothing about Mackintosh, as well as established aficionados. The programme will feature a range of formats with free exhibitions and workshops, ticketed tours and socialable evenings with food and drink.
