Children and ‘big kids’ will have the opportunity to try out the latest toys, spread across two days, alongside head ToyTester and children’s TV presenter, Nigel Clarke and the ToyTesters.tv crew.
The legendary ToyTesters.tv will be at the Centre on the 3rd and 4th of August for the first leg of their summer toy tour with Hamleys. The Glasgow shopping mall is the only Scottish location for the tour, so kids had better be quick if they want to get in on the action.
As well as testing out some of the latest toys including the new interactive Thunderbirds Interactive Tracy Island Playset, Power Rangers Dino Charge, I-DO-3D, Real FX, Pet Parade, Teksta Scorpion and Little Live Pets Mice, children will also have the opportunity to star in video content and get involved in exciting competitions to be in with the chance of winning a selection of prizes over the two-day event.
Anne Ledgerwood, general manager at St. Enoch Centre, said: “We’re thrilled to kick-off the ToyTesters.tv Hamleys summer toy tour at the Centre. I’m sure the ToyTesters will get a warm welcome from our younger and indeed older shoppers. Summer is a busy time at St. Enoch, with lots planned for those visiting the Centre and we’re looking forward to sharing this exciting experience with our customers.”
Commenting on the tour, Grant Yuill, marketing manager at Hamleys, said: “We’re very excited to be partnering with ToyTesters.tv and it is especially great to be launching our national tour at St. Enoch Centre. At Hamleys we are passionate about the experience children have playing with toys so it felt right to partner with ToyTesters.tv and to bring our customers another toy experience. Glasgow really loves toys and I imagine the ToyTesters are going to be kept busy!”
Gemma Gallagher, founder of ToyTesters.tv, added: “We’re delighted that Hamleys and St. Enoch Centre have invited us to visit Glasgow on our tour this summer. Children are the experts when it comes to testing toys and we love hearing their opinions. We’re really looking forward to making children’s dreams come true by giving them the opportunity to be ToyTesters for the day by starring alongside Nigel in our video content. It’s going to be great fun and we’re really excited to meet everyone in Glasgow.”
ToyTesters.tv will be at St. Enoch Centre from 10am to 6.30pm on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th August 2015. Opportunities to test toys will be available at Hamleys throughout the two day event.
