Producer Paul Walden said: “We are certainly not resting on our laurels - a brand new version of the show, with four new songs, a new opening, new production elements including new video, new costumes and special effects - is on a 10-month UK and international tour and premiered on Thursday October 8 in the West End, where the show continues to break West End records. With all these changes we aim to once again set the bar high in terms of what a West End audience will see, hear and experience.”
"This is proof positive that the music of Michael Jackson is still one of the hottest tickets on the planet. We are privileged to continue his musical legacy in Thriller Live, and to have taken it to theatres, concert halls and arenas in 32 countries around the world.
“Half this amazing total has come from our record-breaking seven-year West End run and UK tours. One hundred and fifty million dollars is a landmark financial milestone that few modern stage shows attain. We are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of all of the creative team, dancers, singers, musicians and crew who have entertained the world as part of the Thriller Live family.”
On Wednesday December 16, at the 2901st performance at the Lyric Theatre, Thriller Live overtook Evita, which opened in 1978, to become the 17th Longest Running West End musical of all time. It is testament to the enduring appeal of Michael Jackson and his music.
Thriller Live is a spectacular concert created to celebrate the career of the world’s greatest entertainer and will take you on a visual audio and electrifying journey through the magic of Michael’s 45 year musical history. Experience over two hours of non-stop hits from pop to rock, soul to disco as the cast pay homage to Jackson’s legendary live performances and innovative dance moves executed with flair, precision and passion, this is a show that you will never forget.
Expect your favourite songs delivered by an exceptionally talented cast and band including: I Want You Back, ABC, Can You Feel It, Off The Wall, The Way You Make Me Feel, Smooth Criminal, Beat It, Billie Jean, Dirty Diana, Bad, Rock With You, They Don’t Care About Us, Dangerous and Thriller plus many more!
Lead vocalists include Sean Christopher, who at the age of 11 experienced a chance encounter with the King of Pop himself. Sean has appeared on hit shows So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars, and has toured with his RnB group across the UK and Ireland. After three successful years playing the iconic role of Michael Jackson in the hit show Thriller Live, touring some of the most amazing countries such as Japan, Brazil, Germany and France and meeting some of the most loving Michael Jackson fans all over the world, Sean is delighted to have the opportunity to continue to perform the work of his idol.

His credits include Dan Strongman in Holby City, Reynolds in the second series of US TV programme Legends, Stally in feature film 6Rounds and Seaweed. J. Stubbs in Hairspray the Musical (Asia Tour). Adam’s most recent role was as stunt double for John Boyega's Finn in Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens.
Joining the Thriller Live tour is Shaquille Hemmans. He was personally chosen by actor David Boreanaz to feature in Fox's hit show Bones. He has also appeared on Disney Channel’s Ant Farm, as well as a featured dancer on hit MTV Show Awkward. Shaquile released a new EP in 2015 titled Never End which got him placed on Spotify, iHeartRadio and Pandora worldwide.
Cleopatra Higgins will appear in Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances. Cleo is best known as the lead singer of 90's RnB/pop sensation Cleopatra. Her solo career has seen her duetting with Russell Watson and touring with Joe Budden, Jagged Edge, Girls Aloud, Blue and the Spice Girls to name just a few. In 2013 Cleo auditioned for BBC 1’s The Voice. When all of the coaches turned around for her she eventually chose to join will.i.am’s team and made it through to the semi-finals.
Rory Taylor and his band 54321 have released two albums and performed alongside many big acts such as Toploader, Mel C, Ace of Base, The Beach Boys, Tim Minchin and many more.
