Among the standout appearances are a night to remember with the BBC’s war correspondent John Simpson who is back to discuss some of the pivotal moments in recent history.
Having reported on all of the major conflicts of our time, if anyone has earned the right to tell the story of the war correspondent it is surely John Simpson. In We Chose to Speak of War and Strife, at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on 26 November, the distinguished BBC correspondent will tell more stories of covering wars through the eyes of those who risked life and limb to witness them first hand.
